I believe it is good to start setting up healthy sleep habits as early as you can. You can go with the flow and yet still provide a good structure and routine in place for your baby. Your baby needs the right foundation in place when it comes to feeding and sleeping.
When is the right time to sleep train depends on you really. When are you ready to get back your precious sleep not just for you but also for your baby? Every day that you delay, your baby will accumulate more sleep debts with broken night sleep and catnapping and your baby will get more overtired, cranky and just waking up crying and frustrated with the lack of sleep. As long as your child is healthy, you can start any time.
During our consultation, I will be checking out your baby’s sleep environment (via videos and photos for e-Consult) and suggest ways to improve it and then we will have a 90 minutes consultation.
I will go through the personalised sleep plan that I've prepared for you during the consultation in detail so that you know what to do for different kinds of scenarios. Depending on the package you choose, you will have 2 to 3 weeks of follow-up support from me via WhatsApp, phone calls and emails.
In this sleep training journey, I will be an educator, a guide and a coach to you. My job is to educate you and provide you with the resources and knowledge that you need, equip you with the skills to sleep train your baby.
I will be your guide at every step of the way. Every baby is different. Every household is different. What works for other parents might not work for another because they’re not dealing with the same baby! I will craft a personalised sleep plan that suits you and your baby’s needs. With my experience and training, I can recognize the problems and troubleshoot the problems with you to find the best solutions.
I will be your coach. I will work with you to establish our goals and keep you accountable and make sure that you stick to the plan. The truth is most solutions don’t work overnight, so parents might try a solution that could potentially help baby start sleeping through the night, but abandon it before it takes effect due to some heavy protesting on baby’s part. My job is to make sure you follow through until it starts to work.
No. The “cry-it-out” method works like this: Step 1: Put your child to bed. Step 2: Walk away. Step 3: Let your child scream, cry, howl etc. until your child is asleep.
Now, while the CIO method does work, most parents simply aren’t comfortable with it. I don’t think a parent’s brain is “wired” to listen to the hysterical crying of their children without doing something to comfort them!
That said, you should make peace with the fact that your child will probably cry during the process, because it is normal to protest. More importantly, I will teach you how to implement an age appropriate routine/schedule such that the protest and crying will significantly diminish.
There will come a beautiful day your child will happily go to sleep without protest and wake up happy and well rested! Trust me. It will happen. The whole reason why we are doing this is so your baby will cry less and sleep more and overall be a happier well rested child!

Yes. If you’re sharing a room with your child, a great strategy is to set up a partition or divider of some kind between you and your child for the first little while. Once your child is sleeping well through the night, you can remove the divider (if you choose).
Yes. A lot of my clients are in the same scenario as you. As long as you are consistent and follow the program, you will get your results.
When your baby goes to infant care, he knows it’s a different environment from home and different caregivers. I would of course recommend your infant care centre to follow your approach at home.
If all else fails and your infant care centre can’t follow your guidelines, your baby and you will still benefit greatly by sleeping through the night at home every single night and also during weekends. Night sleep is definitely more restorative than any naps combined.
Yes! I also offer customised baby sleep consultations for toddlers. There are also more ways to help older children, such as incentives like reward charts!
Yes. It’s a little more work (isn’t EVERYTHING when you have multiples?) but it’s 100% doable, and I’m here to do this together with you!
Absolutely! If this pandemic (endemic) teaches us anything, it would be that people can work from anywhere and anytime as long as we want to (and good Internet connection). Everything can be done online.
