The ideal time to start sleep training can vary from child to child, and there isn't a one-size-fits-all answer. If your goal is to teach babies good sleep habits from a young age, we offer the gentle Newborn Sleep Program from 8 weeks onwards. However, if you want to go straight into formal sleep training, I suggest starting when your baby is around 4 to 6 months old. At this age, infants are typically developmentally ready for more regular sleep patterns, and they may be able to sleep for longer stretches at night.
In this sleep program, our job is to educate you and provide you with the resources and knowledge that you need, and equip you with the skills to your baby good sleep habits.

We strictly do not advocate for the “cry-it-out” (CIO) method, which involves letting babies cry until they sleep without checking in on your baby once you lay them down in the cot. While it might be effective for some, many parents find it distressing. However, it's essential to understand that some amount of protest or crying might occur as babies adjust to new routines. As a team of baby sleep specialists in Singapore, we are dedicated to implementing age-appropriate methods that minimise distress. Our ultimate goal? A happily sleeping child with minimal fuss.

When your baby goes to infant care, he knows it’s a different environment from home and different caregivers. We would of course recommend your infant care centre follow your approach at home.
If all else fails and your infant care centre can’t follow your guidelines, you and your baby will still benefit greatly by sleeping well at home every night and during weekends. Night sleep is definitely more restorative than any naps combined.
Absolutely! Sharing a room with your little one? No problem. A simple trick is to use a partition or screen to create some separation initially. It helps in setting boundaries and creating a sleep-friendly environment. Once your child is sleeping like a champ, you can decide whether to keep the divider or not.
